Emphasis is on the analysis and research of business-related situations and problems for the production of a short oral and written report. The correct grammatical forms and structures, mechanics and punctuation, and documentation are stressed. Business writing

Emphasis on pronunciation, vocabulary, and helping the students help themselves toward improving oral English. The student progresses from simple conversations to dialogues involving specialized words and usage and finally to the organization and deliverance of a speech and oral report.

INGL 3344 provides an overview of technical writing and communication within an organizational context. Emphasis is on critical thinking, effective writing, and oral communication skills through collaborative writing, as well as preparation and design of documents. This course presents a broad range of technical genres that enable students to become competent communicators in the workplace.
